As the CEO, I am focused on building a strong culture, a well-defined strategy and successfully delivering results by executing on our financial and operating plans to the fullest potential. I work with all stakeholders in the company to ensure we are aligned and each of us understands how to best deliver on our roles in our mission to meet or exceed expectations and create value. I have been an entrepreneur in starting businesses while also having the opportunity to lead companies on a global scale. I have a very diverse professional background and have been fortunate to work in many industries, including software and business analytics.
As Marchex’s President and Chief Operating Officer, I’m passionate about technology and building AI-driven solutions that make us an indispensable partner to our customers. My focus is developing product strategies that expand the capabilities of artificial intelligence in a way that can help businesses grow faster and leading our company to execute those strategies. Prior to Marchex, I held various leadership positions, most recently at Kargo, a mobile technology and advertising company in New York City, where I served as Chief Product Officer.
I have over 35 years in developing technology products and services for leading enterprise retailers. I have been publicly recognized by JD Power & Associates as one of the automotive industry’s original “eCommerce Pioneers.” I start with gaining a deep understanding the consumer and their path to purchase then use data and in-depth research to validate methods to streamline it to produce measurable business results. I love to find the story that that lies within the data, then find the simplest way to explain the most complex. My goal is to solve the leading challenges that our business partners face, using insights and performance improvement.
My role at Marchex encompasses major corporate and strategic affairs initiatives and I am focused on helping drive Marchex’s continued evolution as a leading conversational analytics and solutions company. I have worked closely with the Company since its inception and have played a leading role in the Company’s acquisitions, equity offerings and strategic initiatives over the years. I have more than 30 years of legal and management experience as a senior corporate and securities partner with firmwide and practice group leadership roles at several leading national and global law firms.
I am a strategic partner for automotive companies world-wide, and am passionate about helping them solve complex problems in areas such as retail marketing and customer experience. As the voice of the customer, I work with OEM’s, dealerships and partners to drive alignment, build sustainable and long-term solutions, and deliver performance improvements for my clients. With more than 20 years of experience in operations and business development, I am passionate about the automotive industry and digging in to understand the needs of your business.
In my various roles at Marchex, I operate at the intersection of corporate development, investor relations and communications and I work across the organization at Marchex to grow customer and partner relationships. My focus is on helping businesses understand the voice of their customers, finding partnerships that can help our customers grow and sharing how we can help shape great customer experiences through our products. With more than 20 years of experience in business strategy development and communications, I am passionate about helping Marchex evolve into a leading growth company that solves critical needs for our customers.
I believe in value, trust and integrity – all things I practice in my job on a daily basis. My focus in People Services is delivering high levels of employee and customer services at Marchex. With my 20 years’ experience in HR in the Seattle area, I support the company and the People Services team through role modeling and coaching desired behaviors, and creating programs and processes that support desired outcomes. My goal is to positively impact and enhance employee satisfaction while continuing to align the People Services function with strategic objectives or the organization.
I lead our sales engineering, onboarding, and carrier relations teams. I am passionate about delivering solutions that solve customer pain-points and reducing friction during onboarding so customers get the most from our solutions as quickly as possible. I believe in building operational teams and processes that are simple, efficient, transparent, and scalable. I seek to reduce the number of moving parts required to operate at an optimal level. I have more than a decade of experience leading teams in advertising and marketing technologies.
